No Weekly Reader this week. I don’t feel I wrote anything in the past seven days really worth revisiting. Instead, here’s a link to an interesting blog post from “Ren & Stimpy” creator John K about his work in the 1980s as a cartoon development artist. Apparently, every TV network’s strategy back then was to just rip off the most popular animated entity of the moment. These drawings are what John came up with as a “Garbage Pail Kids” rip. Really fun story (with plenty of cool drawings). Thanks, John!
