Another JPEG I Downloaded For Specific Reasons Lost To History
This is a photo, circa late eighties, of Tony Dow (center) directing an episode of “The New Leave It To Beaver” on the Universal Studios Florida lot. You can see the Psycho house in the background, looking ominous as ever despite its incomplete paint job. I have no practical use for this image but I cannot help being drawn to it as a crossroads or convergence of two fantastically juxtaposed pieces of 1960s Americana.
Also, Tony’s shirt is tucked in and he looks like a total wiener, LOL.
